projects, parades, parents

this weekend was homecoming weekend at brainerd high school. so naturally my husband and i volunteered to support the company i work for and participate. we were in charge of throwing candy and footballs. in order to do this, you could not be in a moving vehicle, but you could throw while you were walking. what on earth is the difference? i guess you can get more velocity if you are in a moving vehicle?

my parents are in town for the weekend as well, which is always a lovely time. i know i can always count on my dad to clean my kitchen floor for me, if i haven't gotten to it, and count on my mother to help me finish projects that i started back in april. we have enjoyed a lovely weekend together, so here are some pictures of the "before" projects. just wait for an "after" tomorrow!!

oh and it was freezing this weekend, hence my layers and snow boots.
